GPRS SETTING

General Instructions

1. Except for IM3 card, setup of a GPRS or MMS require prior activation process.
2. Activation process is done by contacting the relevant service according to the card used.
3. About how to conduct a detailed activation can be seen in the GPRS setup details below.

Setting GPRS simPATI (Telkomsel)

1. Using mobile phones with GPRS facility.
2. Still have a pulse minimum Rp. 500, - under the value you can not use GPRS services, MMS and SMS.
3. Register as subscribers to GPRS, which can only be done through SMS.
How:
- Type the message: GPRS [Number Card]
- Example: GPRS 6210009922069556
- Send to: 6616
Note:
- Tariff send SMS messages: Rp. 350, - / messages.
- Card number is the number ICCID (Integrated Circuit Card Identification) which consists of 16 (sixteen) digit number on the back and there are chips you Nusantara simPATI card.
- The contents of the message does not depend on large or small letters (non case sensitive).
- In typing the card number should not be any spaces.
4. The system will provide notification SMS message to you after a while to let you know that the activation request is being processed: "Your request for GPRS setup already received. Please wait for max. 48 hours for succesfull activation notification message."
5. Activation processing takes maximum 48 hours.
6. After the activation process is successful, the system will notify you via SMS from 6616: "Welcome to the GPRS service! Your GPRS service has been activated. Www.telkomsel.com Please visit for more information"
7. Setting the communication terminals that are used with parameters as follows:
- Connection Name: APN Telkomsel
- Data Bearer: GPRS
- Access Point Name: telkomsel
- Username: wap
- Prompt Password: No
- Password: wap123
- Authentication: Normal
- Homepage: http://wap.telkomsel.com
- WAP Gateway IP Address: 10.1.89.130
- Port: 9201 (standard), 8000 (proxy)
8. Being in the GPRS service.
9. To use the WAP GPRS Telkomsel, make sure you have registered on www.telkomsel.com.
10. To use the WAP GPRS Telkomsel, make sure you make the handset settings to use the Access Point Name (APN) telkomsel.
Setting GPRS kartuHALO (Telkomsel)

1. Using mobile phones with GPRS facility.
2. Register as a customer GPRS, registration can be done in GraPARI or contact Caroline on 111 numbers, toll-free service from your kartuHALO, or can be done through SMS:
How:
- Type the message: GPRS
- Example: GPRS
- Send to: 6616
Note:
- Tariff send SMS messages: Rp. 250, - / messages.

Please send the following SMS to 9667, only Rp. 350, - (including VAT for free users and do not include VAT for users Xplor).
